At least six people lost their lives in a shooting incident linked to personal enmity in Gujrat, Punjab.
According to police, the victims were targeted while traveling in a car near Dinga Khurd. The deceased have been identified as Zahid Nazim, Mubashir, Zamir, Javed, Rukhsar, and an unidentified individual.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the assailants carried out the attack due to a long-standing feud. Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene soon after the incident.
In a separate case, at least nine people were killed and five others injured in an armed clash between two groups in Kandhkot. Police stated that the shootout occurred between members of the Jagirani and Chachar tribes, reportedly over an ongoing dispute.
The deceased were identified as Shah Murad Chachar, Hazroor Bakhsh, Abdul Khaliq, Shahzad, Hamid, Manzoor, Shaaban, and Allah Wario Chachar.
Meanwhile, another incident of violence took place in Peshawar’s Badh Bair area, where unidentified gunmen opened fire on a vehicle, killing five people. The attack, which occurred around 2:00 AM, is also believed to be linked to a personal rivalry, according to initial police findings.
