Jamshoro land dispute claims two lives, seven injures

A violent clash between two groups over a land dispute in Jamshoro, Sindh, has left two people dead and seven others injured.

The dispute escalated into gunfire, causing widespread panic in the area, according to police. The victims were identified as Ghulam Khoso and Thim Khoso. Authorities have cordoned off the area to control the situation and are working to de-escalate tensions and restore peace.

In a similar incident last year in Sukkur, five people lost their lives in a violent clash over a land dispute within the Bagarji police station’s jurisdiction.

Police officials stated that the long-standing conflict escalated into a deadly exchange of gunfire between the groups. Four members of the same group, including three from one family, died on the spot, while another injured person succumbed to their wounds in the hospital.

Authorities confirmed this was not the first violent confrontation between the groups, as a previous clash had already claimed three lives.
