An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 hit Islamabad and nearby areas, including Rawalpindi.
It happened 17 kilometers below the ground, with the epicenter located 8 kilometers southeast of Rawalpindi.
The tremors were also felt in cities like Peshawar, Murree, and Jhelum, leading to widespread panic.
People ran out of their homes in fear, but thankfully, no major damage or injuries have been reported so far.
