RAWALPINDI: The verdict of the £190 million case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder will be pronounced on January 13
Court staff say that Accountability Court judge Nasir Javed Rana is on leave today, the verdict in the £190 million scam case will be announced on January 13.
The court staff has also informed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor and PTI lawyers about the new date of the verdict.
It should be noted that Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the Accountability Court reserved the judgment of £190 million scam case on December 18.
The date of judgment of the case was set on December 23, but the court postponed the date of judgment to January 6 was fixed and now the date of judgment of the case has been fixed on January 13.
The former prime minister along with his wife, Bushra and others have been accused by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of causing a loss of £190 million to the national exchequer.

Earlier, Founder Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) Imran Khan sought relief in £190 million case after the decision of the Supreme Court on the case related to NAB amendments.
The hearing of the £190 million reference against Imran Khan was held in Adiala Jail. During the hearing, the PTI founder filed an acquittal petition in the £190 million reference after the NAB amendment decision.
The lawyer PTI founder said that after the NAB amendment decision , the case of £190 million is not valid now and all the decisions of the cabinet are protected in the NAB amendments.
