Security forces kill 8 terrorists in two KP operations

Security forces carried out two successful operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday, killing eight terrorists, including a key commander involved in terrorist activities.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation took place in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan, where intelligence-based action led to the killing of Khan Muhammad, alias Khori, and another militant.

Among those killed was Khan Muhammad, a notorious commander wanted for target killings and extortion, with a reward of Rs1 million for his capture.

In a separate operation in Lakki Marwat, security forces killed six militants after intense gunfire. The operation is ongoing with clearance efforts to ensure that no militants remain in the area.

The ISPR reiterated the security forces’ commitment to eliminating terrorism from Pakistan.
