The gold rate in Pakistan further decreased by Rs1,700 to Rs274,500 per tola in the local market on Monday (Dec 2).
The price of 10-gram gold dropped to Rs235,340, reflecting a decrease of Rs1,457, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, gold prices in Pakistan had already seen a decline of Rs1,100 per tola.
Globally, gold prices also fell on Monday. APGJSA reported the international rate at $2,633 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a loss of $17 during the day.
