RAWALPINDI: The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee(CJCSC), Services Chiefs, and Armed Forces of Pakistan pay heartfelt tribute to Naik Saif Ali Janjua Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, on his 76th martyrdom anniversary.
Naik Saif Ali Janjua Shaheed displayed unwavering valour in defending Pir Kaleva Ridge against relentless Indian assaults in 1948. His selfless heroism serves as an enduring inspiration to those safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.
Today’s commemoration honours the extraordinary sacrifices of Pakistan’s Armed Forces, exemplifying their unyielding dedication to defending the motherland. We solemnly remember these gallant heroes who laid down their lives for the nation.
The nation remains eternally proud of its brave sons.

Earlier, A Pakistan Army cadet, Arif Ullah, was martyred while defending worshippers during an attack on a mosque in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during Maghrib prayers on Friday, as confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the ISPR, on October 25, 2024, militants targeted a mosque during Maghrib prayers. Gentleman Cadet Arif Ullah, on leave from the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, was in the mosque at the time.
As soon as the attackers opened fire, the cadet courageously responded, protecting many worshippers at the cost of his own life. The ISPR condemned the attack, stating that targeting worshippers reveals the true nature of such militants.
They also highlighted Arif Ullah’s sacrifice as an example of the dedication within the security forces to eliminate terrorism.
