Lahore became the first and Karachi the third most polluted city in the world, as per the data of the air quality index.

According to the air quality index, the air quality of Lahore is excessively dangerous for the people living there, while the air quality of Karachi has been declared hazardous to health.

The air quality index reveals that the capital of Iraq, Baghdad, is the second most polluted city in the world, where the amount of polluted dust is recorded at 200 particulate meters.

According to the Air Quality Index, more than 150 pollutants, more than 200 extreme pollutants, and more than 300 hazardous pollutants are shown.
