Fawad Khan is set to make his Bollywood comeback alongside Vaani Kapoor in the upcoming film “Abir Gulaal”. A superstar in Pakistan, Fawad first broke into Bollywood with his debut in “Khoobsurat”, winning over audiences across the border. However, protests from extremist groups in India led to his eventual ban from the industry. Despite not working in India since Fawad enjoys a massive fan base there.

Fawad Khan is currently shooting his upcoming film with Vaani Kapoor in London, and the first-look poster has just been released. He takes on the role of a chef who falls in love with Vaani’s character.

Pakistani fans are unhappy with Fawad Khan for turning down several major projects with top starlets in Pakistan while choosing to do an OTT film with Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor, who they feel isn’t as big a star as Fawad. His fans are disappointed, and releasing the first poster has sparked criticism.
