“Ishq Murshid”, a mega drama starring Bilal Abbas Khan and Durefishan Saleem, shattered viewership records. The drama’s success was driven by its captivating characters and acting and its OST, sung by Ahmed Jahanzeb. While Ahmed Jahanzeb received credit for writing the lyrics, it appears he may not have been the one who wrote them.

Javeria Saud revealed on Madeha Naqvi’s show that “she is the one who wrote Ishq Murshid’s OST but her friend betrayed her and she was not given credit for her work. She said that this had happened to her several times when her words were not attributed to her.”
