Waseem Badami, a well-known anchor, has hosted various shows, from religious programs to current affairs, with great success. As a guest on Ushna Shah’s latest show, “After Hours”, he discussed his journey, achievements, and the friends he has lost along the way.
Waseem Badami has lost several famous friends with whom he worked during his broadcasts. He collaborated extensively with Junaid Jamshed on *Shaan-e-Ramzan*, and losing him was a shock for Waseem, just as it was for everyone else. He also worked with the late Amjad Sabri, who met a tragic end. Additionally, Waseem was one of the few hosts to work alongside the late Aamir Liaquat Hussain. All these individuals were lost in tragic circumstances over the past few years.
He revealed that “he is still in a state of shock and he cannot process the loss he faced after these people were no more. He also revealed that to this day, he cannot listen to Junaid Jamshed’s Naats or Amjad Sabri’s Kalams as he cannot process that they are not here anymore.”
