Alina Abbas Shah shared how she faced body shaming for her height since childhood, being the tallest in her class. Standing at 6 feet tall, she encountered criticism but has always embraced and loved her height. She expressed pride in being tall and how she has always appreciated this aspect of herself. She also discusses that “she started out at the age of 29 and now she is 32 and proud of it. She does not care about age shaming as well and she is focused on her work.”
She also shared how she was body-shamed after Noor Jahan. Many said that “she looks the same age as Saba Hameed and others were saying that she looks older than Hunaid. She had gained a lot of weight and it depressed her. She later got motivated by the taunts and got herself back.”
