Mohib Mirza, a great talent, always shines when he takes on a character. He is currently winning hearts with his strong performance as Hassan in “Jafaa”. In the drama, he portrays a troubled individual whose past has shaped his personality, leading him to navigate a toxic relationship with his wife, Zara, played by Mawra Hocane.
He spoke to BBC Urdu about what society should learn from the character of Hassan. He said that “nearly everyone around us has trauma and it has shaped us in a certain way. Hassan’s character shows that realizing your situation is important and viewers are talking about how he needs therapy and that is what they wanted to convey to the audience.”
Mirza has experienced a divorce in his real life and found love again. He openly shares his views on how people should move on from such situations. Now, he advises individuals like Zara, who are stuck in toxic relationships. Mohib emphasizes that if a situation becomes extremely toxic, people should exit and move on. He believes there should be no pressure to remain trapped in a harmful relationship.
