Pakistani cinema heartthrob Fawad Khan has revealed that he remains in touch with Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Karan Johar. In a recent interview, Fawad shared that he maintains cordial relationships with his Indian co-stars.
He made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with “Khoobsurat” opposite Sonam Kapoor, and his last Bollywood film was the 2016 romantic drama “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” where he starred alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Anushka Sharma.
When asked about his relations with his co-stars, Fawad mentioned that he still keeps in touch with Ranbir Kapoor and his family. “I am in touch on and off. We speak on phone or chat sometimes, so I’ve been in touch and I have enjoyed a very good relationship with Kapoor family and there is still a lot of love and respect with Karan Johar and Shakun Batra,” he revealed.
Fawad also noted that he enjoys friendships with a few Indian producers, with whom he occasionally chats. “We plan to meet somewhere, so one and off we talk. We keep in touch and we’re still very cordial and still very friendly and there’s no love lost,” he added.
It is worth mentioning that Fawad Khan is set for a Bollywood comeback after eight years in a rom-com co-starring Vaani Kapoor. The film, yet to be titled, will be shot entirely in the UK.
The story revolves around two broken individuals who come together by chance, help each other, and ultimately fall in love. The pre-production has been completed, and the project is scheduled to start filming this fall, with more details about the shooting locations to be announced.
