One of Pakistan’s finest artists, Sajal Aly, has worked internationally and consistently prioritizes good script overlooks and glamour. Recently seen in “Zard Patton Ka Bunn,” she spoke to ‘Fuchsia’ at the press event for the show, sharing some behind-the-scenes insights into the drama as well as her own opinions on society’s expectations.

She shared that riding the bicycle in the show was the toughest part as the size of the bike was too big for her, and she fell a few times. Otherwise, as always, she connected to the character of Meenu and talked about how much she loved being a part of a socially relevant show.

She also shared that she “did not want to be a doctor when she grew up like Meenu does. She wanted to become a politician as a child.”

Sajal also discussed how society pitches marriage as an endgame for women, but in reality, marriage is a significant and beautiful aspect of a woman’s life; however, it is not the endgame. She emphasized that marriage could serve as a support system if one finds a supportive partner, and women should always seek independence through education.
