He also wrote famous Pakistani dramas such as Sadqay Tumhare, Bunty I Love You, Chand Pur Ka Chandu, Manjali, and Mere Paas Tum Ho. His hit film scripts include Punjab Nahi Jaungi and London Nahi Jaunga. Recently, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar made a comeback on television with his brilliant script for the drama serial Gentleman.

Recently, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar appeared on Sabih Sumair’s YouTube channel for an interview where he discussed the injustice that channels do with writers after stretching their scripts. He responded to questions regarding Ishq Murshid in this regard.

Replying to the question, “Sir Ishq Murshid’s writer claims that the ending of his drama was changed without his consent, what are your thoughts on it?, he said, “It is being cruel with the writer, it is insulting to the writer. It is a sheer injustice. I hate such an act. You should discuss it with the writer and request him to come and rewrite it if you need a few changes at the last minute. If they have changed the writer’s concept then they have completely ruined the project. It is disrespectful towards the writer. I curse such people who do this to the writers”.
