In an effort to enhance accessibility and convenience for individuals with disabilities, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a helpline dedicated to providing computerized national identity card (CNIC) issuance services at people’s doorsteps. This initiative aims to streamline the CNIC acquisition process, particularly benefiting those facing mobility or physical limitations when visiting NADRA registration centers.
An official from NADRA highlighted the significance of this initiative, emphasizing its role in making the CNIC issuance process effortless and convenient for individuals with disabilities. Through this service, NADRA officials will personally visit the residences of eligible individuals, gather required documents, record biometric data, and issue CNICs. This personalized approach ensures equitable access to vital identity documents, promoting inclusivity and empowerment within the community.
The Special Helpline 1777 serves as a central support hub, offering comprehensive assistance and guidance on NADRA’s services, including the home-based CNIC issuance procedure. This initiative reflects NADRA’s commitment to inclusivity and underscores its dedication to empowering individuals with disabilities.
