Qatar has experienced a significant increase in tourist arrivals due to its tourist-friendly policies, advanced infrastructure, tranquil beaches, and more.
Under a national strategy, Qatar aims to welcome six million tourists by 2030, thereby increasing the tourism sector’s contribution to the GDP from 7 percent to 12 percent.
To boost tourism, Qatar has implemented a visa-free entry policy for over 80 countries, including Pakistan.
Under this policy, Pakistani citizens are eligible for a 30-day visa waiver upon their arrival in Qatar.
For visa-free travel to Qatar from Pakistan, the following conditions must be met:
- The traveler’s passport should be valid for at least 6 months.
- The traveler should have a confirmed return ticket.
- The traveler should have a valid debit or credit card. (If a family is traveling together, the card should be in the name of one of the family members)
- The visa, which is granted for 30 days free of charge, cannot be extended.
- Travelers should have a confirmed hotel booking.
- Travelers coming directly from Pakistan should have a polio vaccination certificate.
