Earlier this week, there was surprise when the Indus Motor Company announced a price reduction for its Yaris models, contrary to expectations of a price increase due to the government’s sales tax rate hike.

The manufacturer of Toyota vehicles has implemented price cuts of up to Rs 133,000. For instance, the price of the Toyota Yaris 1.3 GLI MT was reduced by Rs 73,000 to Rs 4,326,000, and the new price of the 1.3 GLI CVT is now Rs 4,616,000 after a reduction of Rs 73,000.

The Toyota Yaris 1.3 ATIV CVT received a price cut of Rs 133,000, bringing its new price down to Rs 4,766,000.

The prices of Toyota Yaris in solid white and other colors are the same, indicating that there is no additional cost for choosing a different color option.
