QUETTA: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khalid Marri was killed in firing incident in Sibi Balochistan province.

According to the police, DSP Khalid Zaman was going in his car near the local plaza on Chainak Road in Sabi when suddenly an armed person opened fire on his car, in which Khalid Zaman was seriously injured.

The assailant was injured by the retaliatory firing of Khalid Zaman’s guard, who was later chased and captured.

After the firing, the DSP was shifted to Combined Military Hospital in critical condition, but he could not survive.

DSP Khalid Zaman Marri from Sabi was waiting for posting these days. Sibi journalist Mian Yusuf’s car was also hit by the attacker’s firing, but he was miraculously unharmed.
