Fahad Mirza, a Pakistani plastic surgeon, cosmetic surgeon, and reconstructive surgeon, gained fame through modeling and acting. He has appeared in many famous dramas, including Bari Aapa, Shanakht, Mein Deewani, Mutthi Bhar Mitti, and Parizaad.
Recently, he made an appearance on Ahmed Butt’s podcast Excuse Me. In the podcast, he shared an interesting story about Parizaad and also explained how he obtained the role.
Talking about doing a short role in Parizaad, he said, “I worked mostly with Hum TV. I can’t say that I chose them; it was never a deliberate effort. It’s just that they wanted me, and it’s good working with them. The same is the case with Parizaad; Mahesh gave me Parizaad’s script, and I was a bit reluctant while doing it, but then I agreed, and it went extremely well. But I would say that I have received the most love and acceptance after Parizaad. It was a privilege.”
He further shared another interesting story, “I once visited a tuck shop in Lahore airport where the shopkeeper was watching a video very keenly. I wanted Panadol and water because I had a headache. He ignored me, and also didn’t hear me properly. He gave me a strict look and provided me with Panadol and water. His interest compelled me to ask him about what he was watching; he said ‘Parizaad.’ I then asked, ‘What is it?’ He stared at me in anger and said, ‘This is the only good drama airing currently on television.’ I then asked him, ‘Would you like to see me in it?’ and told him that I would be appearing in Parizaad.”
