Miley Cyrus Opens Up About Her True Friendship With Ariana Grande

In her TikTok series “Used To Be Young,” inspired by her latest single, Miley Cyrus reminisced about a playful moment she had with her longtime friend Ariana Grande. In part 34 of the video series, Cyrus looked back on their 2015 performance of Crowded House’s classic “Don’t Dream It’s Over” during her Backyard Sessions. Both of them were dressed in animal onesies while singing with a live band. Cyrus humorously commented on the video, saying, “This is as serious as it can be — me and Ariana Grande in onesies performing in the backyard.”

The throwback video showed Cyrus inquiring about Grande’s animal onesie, which caused her to miss a singing cue. They laughed it off, and Miley Cyrus remembered, “I was flirting with her and she was a little scared. We were having fun!”

Regarding their friendship, Miley Cyrus emphasized, “Ariana’s a real friend. There’s never been a time where I’ve asked her to do something that was important to me that she didn’t come through. And same thing for me with her.”

Ariana Grande, in response to the TikTok video, shared it on her own Instagram Story and affectionately referred to Cyrus as “my sweet.” She added, “Love you always @mileycyrus. we #usedtobeyoung !!!!”

Since their 2015 collaboration, the two musicians have worked together multiple times, including a reunion at Grande’s 2017 One Love Manchester benefit concert. They also joined forces again in 2019 for the collaborative single “Don’t Call Me Angel” with Lana Del Rey, featured in the Charlie’s Angels remake released that year.

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) issues the Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (SNICOP), a registration document provided to eligible Pakistani citizens residing abroad.

Any Pakistani citizen can obtain the Smart NICOP, eliminating the need for a visa in the case of dual nationality. When applying for this document for newborns born abroad, providing the passport number is a mandatory requirement.

NADRA has established two fee structures for the Smart NICOP, categorized by region, dividing countries into Zone A and Zone B.

Regarding the NICOP fees for Australia, Italy, and Germany in September 2023, these countries fall under Zone A. As of September 2023, NADRA has not made any revisions to the Smart NICOP fees for these nations.

Halle Bailey Shares Motivation Behind Her Solo Debut Album

Halle Bailey is finding inspiration in a “deep, deep” romantic connection for her upcoming music. The 23-year-old singer-actress discussed her forthcoming solo music and how her first experience of love influenced her creative process. In a cover story for Cosmopolitan’s September-October STYLE edition, she confirmed her debut solo album would be released “before the end of this year.”

Bailey mentioned that “love” has been a significant source of motivation for her music. She has been dating rapper DDG (Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) since early 2022.

She acknowledged that her work in films like the upcoming musical adaptation of The Color Purple and the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid has impacted her songwriting. Still, she emphasized the profound influence of her romantic relationship.

“All musical inspiration really just comes from life experiences,” Bailey explained. “Love has been a really big one for me too, because that’s something I’m experiencing for the first time, and it’s, like, ‘whoa’ in your brain. It’s just fireworks, a spark for creativity.”

Halle Bailey emphasized the depth of her current love, which was made Instagram-official when DDG posted a birthday tribute to Bailey in March 2023. Bailey called it her “first deep, deep, real love.”

While Halle Bailey chose to keep her personal life private, she did express the transformative nature of this period. Bailey indicated that she had gained a wealth of new material for her music and had been creatively inspired.

Describing her upcoming album, which doesn’t have a title yet, Bailey mentioned it combines elements of jazz and pop with contemporary R&B tones. The lead track “Angel,” released in early August, provided a taste of the musical direction.

She also discussed her target audience, stating, “My music is definitely for the young girl who doesn’t know herself completely yet, who’s growing every day and learning about who she is and about her power. It’s an emotional, vulnerable kind of music. It’s also a love letter to myself and my younger self and my future self.”

Swiss Government and HEC introduce ‘Excellence Scholarship for Pakistani Students’ for 2024-25.

Scholarships aim to provide educational opportunities for foreign master’s and doctoral students.

The Swiss Government, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), has introduced the ‘Excellence Scholarship for Pakistani Students’ for the academic year 2024-25.

Scholarships have been announced for various programs, including one-year post-master’s research, three-year post-master’s, PhD, and one-year Post-Doctoral Programmes (PDP) for aspiring candidates, according to sources from the local HEC chapter.

Applicants are required to submit their applications to the Swiss embassy by September 30. Further information can be found on the official website, as per sources from the local HEC.

The primary aim of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships is to provide educational opportunities to foreign scholars pursuing master’s or doctoral degrees.

Recipients of these scholarships will be chosen under the oversight of the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students.

In a separate initiative, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has introduced a scholarship program for students from Gilgit-Baltistan, enabling them to study at renowned Pakistani universities and institutions.

As per an HEC official, applications are being accepted from outstanding Gilgit-Baltistan students interested in pursuing undergraduate studies (four/five-year BS programs) at HEC-recognized public sector universities and degree-awarding institutions (DAIs).

These scholarships are available for the academic year 2023-24 and cover all areas of study or disciplines under the project titled, “Undergraduate Scholarship Program for Gilgit-Baltistan Students in Top Pakistani Universities/Institutions (Batch-III).”

Regarding eligibility criteria, the official noted that applicants must hold a domicile or local certificate from Gilgit-Baltistan and have successfully completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or its equivalent.

In one of his Instagram posts from last month, Jared Leto propelled himself off the side of a mountain, though he did so while wearing a harness and rope. The caption included the phrase “Ready to swing into the weekend like,” accompanied by monkey and rocket emojis.

Yamaha Announces Fifth Price Hike for Motorcycles in 2023 – New Price List Revealed

Due to the challenging economic conditions in Pakistan’s automotive industry, Yamaha Motor Pakistan (Private) Limited has decided to implement price adjustments for its motorcycles.

In accordance with the official announcement, the company has raised the prices of all motorcycle models by as much as Rs. 29,500. This includes the Yamaha YB 125Z, YB 125Z DX, YBR 125, and the flagship model, the Yamaha YBR 125G.

The price of the YB 125Z has been increased by Rs. 15,500, bringing it up from Rs. 380,500 to Rs. 396,000. Similarly, the YB 125Z DX now costs Rs. 423,500, which is Rs. 15,000 higher than its previous price of Rs. 408,500.

The Yamaha YBR 125 is now priced at Rs. 435,500 in Pakistan, representing an increase of the same amount, as it was previously available for Rs. 419,000. Finally, the price of the Yamaha YBR 125G (Black) has risen to Rs. 453,000 from Rs. 436,000, while the Yamaha YBR 125G (Gray/Orange) now costs Rs. 456,000, up from its previous price of Rs. 439,000.
