As of August 10, 2023, it’s been reported that Shakira is forming a close bond with her new partner, NBA star Jimmy Butler, and is eagerly looking forward to their future together. According to an inside source quoted by Us Weekly, their connection has been strengthening “gradually over the past few weeks” following a dinner outing they had in May.

The source highlighted that the 33-year-old sportsman brings a smile to Shakira’s face and that she is thoroughly enjoying the process of getting to know him on a more profound level.

Before this, the “Whenever Wherever” singer was involved in an 11-year relationship with former Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué, with whom she has two sons, Milan (10) and Sasha (8).

The public breakup between Shakira and Piqué in June 2022 was marked by accusations of Piqué’s infidelity, contributing to a bitter separation.

Taylor Swift Confirms ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ Release Date

Taylor Swift brought joy to her fans, known as Swifties, with the announcement of her re-recorded version of the 2014 album “1989,” which comes on the heels of her release of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).”

Taking to her Instagram in the early hours of Thursday, August 10, the Grammy-winning artist shared the thrilling news.

“Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is on its way to you [coming soon emoji]!,” she wrote in the caption, accompanied by an image that appears to be a new album cover.

Swift expressed that the “1989 album changed my life in countless ways” and shared her excitement in unveiling the new edition.

She went on to describe this re-record as her “most FAVORITE re-record” and revealed the inclusion of 5 From The Vault tracks that are “so insane.”

The post concluded with her words, “I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long! Pre order 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on my site [cool emoji]”

Scheduled for release on October 27th, 2023, the re-recorded album follows the launch of Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Red (Taylor’s Version), and Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).

This initiative of re-releasing her albums prior to 2019 came after Taylor Swift’s previous label, Big Machine Records, was acquired by Scooter Braun. She had initially signed with Big Machine Records, owned by Scott Borchetta, at the young age of 13. Her journey began with the release of her debut single “Tim McGraw” in 2006.

Her discography includes the albums Taylor Swift (2006), Fearless (2008), Speak Now (2010), Red (2012), 1989 (2014), and Reputation (2017).

During the label’s acquisition by Braun, Swift penned a lengthy statement revealing that she wasn’t given the chance to buy her own music.

In her effort to reclaim ownership of her artistic creations and disassociate from those who sought to undermine her work, the artist has been releasing re-recorded versions, labeled with “(Taylor’s Version)” in the titles. The upcoming version of “1989” will encompass 21 tracks, featuring 5 previously unreleased songs from The Vault.

Vijay Deverakonda Values Commercial Success Over Critical Acclaim

Actor Vijay Deverakonda expressed that he would prefer achieving a blockbuster hit with unfavourable reviews over earning stars from critics. Deverakonda, who faced disappointment with his recent release “Liger” at the box office, acknowledged that he has experienced his fair share of failures during his 12-year cinematic journey. Currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film “Kushi,” in which he co-stars with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Deverakonda shared his perspective during the trailer launch of the Telugu film in Hyderabad.

Reflecting on his career’s ups and downs, Vijay Deverakonda emphasized that he does not rely on external guidance, making his own decisions. He stated, “What will I do with stars? I would rather have a hit with thumbs-down from critics.” He also mentioned his awareness of his prior flops and the importance of learning from them.

“Kushi,” directed by Shiva Nirvana, revolves around the story of Viplab and Aradhaya, a couple who confront challenges after marrying, realizing that marriage is not without difficulties. Deverakonda underlined that the film has a relatable aspect, as it portrays the story of an everyday couple.

Acknowledging the role of failure in life, Deverakonda noted that success encompasses both triumphs and setbacks. He shared his journey of self-discovery, revealing that he has adopted a more cautious approach. He disclosed, “I am somebody that speaks my mind… I have decided to shut my mouth for the next three films and let my work speak.”

“Kushi” is set to release in multiple languages on September 1, exploring the universal themes of love and marriage. Deverakonda expressed his own evolving view of marriage, revealing that he is considering it for the future. He concluded that the film has helped him come to terms with the concept of marriage and that he hopes to experience it in his life soon.
