Senator Azam Swati has been handed over to the police on a five-day physical remand.
It should be noted that Senator Azam Swati was arrested three days ago from Islamabad and shifted to Quetta on transit remand.
In Balochistan, Five FIRs have been registered against Senator Azam Khan Swati in Quetta, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Zhob, and Gwadar.
Three cases were registered against Senator Azam Swati on November 26 in the Lasbela, Khuzdar, and Kuchlak Tehsils of Quetta. The fourth case was registered on November 27 in Pasni Tehsil of Gwadar while the fifth case was registered on November 28 in Zhob District.
The FIRs against Senator Azam Swati contain seven provisions including the PICA Act, in which Sections 109, 505, 504, 501, 500, 153, and 131 have also been made part of the FIRs.
On the other hand, Provincial President PTI Balochistan Qasim Suri while talking informally to the media outside Quetta Kachhari said that Azam Swati has been brought to Quetta in extreme cold.
He said that baseless FIRs have been registered against Azam Swati. He said that Azam Swati is ill and added FIR has been registered against all leaders including Imran Khan.
