Actress Sanam Jung has expressed her grief and anger over the Minar-e-Pakistan incident on her Insta Story, saying that it is a very disgusting incident.

Sanam said that the incident was so disappointing and horrific that women were being publicly harassed.

“Is this what your mothers taught you?” she asked. Is this what your religion taught you?”

The actress wrote in her Insta Story that “We only speak of religion when it comes to women’s clothes, and what about these perverts?”

It should be noted that the horrific incident of assaulting a woman TikToker on the occasion of Independence Day in Greater Iqbal Park of Lahore came to light through social media 3 days later.

The 400 people beat Ayesha Akram and her accomplices and tore their clothes while the police remained unaware of the incident.

A case has been registered against 400 unidentified accused at the request of the woman but no conviction has been handed down yet.

New Zealand tour to Pakistan in worries due to players security concerns

New Zealand players announced ODI squads for the Pakistan tour, but they have also raised their security concerns after the Taliban take over Afghanistan.

According to New Zealand’s publication ‘Stuff‘, their players have raised concerns over touring Pakistan in September-October due to the present situation in the Asian region.

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) independent security consultant Reg Dickason will tour Pakistan the following week to ensure the security situation here, and his report based on a detailed evaluation will make the final decision whether they will tour Pakistan or not.

NZ Cricket Players Association boss, Heath Mills said, “We’re very comfortable with the process we’ve got, but notwithstanding that, with events in Afghanistan in the last few days, it’s very sad what’s happening in that country and people including players are obviously asking questions of our security check processes. We just need to assure them of the process, and follow it, and reach a determination,”

Earlier, NZC confirmed their tour to Pakistan after 18 years to play 3 ODIs, and 5 T20s in Rawalpindi and Lahore, respectively.

Samsung has released a new software update to the Galaxy Fold. The update is available on Bluegrass Cellular, C-Spire, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile. According to Samsung, this new software brings the August 2021 security patch that fixes 40 vulnerabilities.

Two weeks ago Samsung had released the August 2021 security update to the original Galaxy Fold. However, that update was limited to the international version of the phone. Now, the company has started rolling out the latest security patch to the US variant of the Galaxy Fold.

South Korean firm has released a new software update to the Galaxy Fold with firmware version F900U1UES5EUG1. The recent update is now available on various carrier networks in the US: Bluegrass Cellular, C-Spire, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile. According to Samsung, this new software brings the August 2021 security patch that fixes 40 vulnerabilities.

If you are still using a Galaxy Fold in the US on any of the networks mentioned above, you can update your foldable smartphone with the newest software. You can either wait for the OTA update to arrive or check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy Fold in September 2019 with Android 9 Pie. Last year, the smartphone received the Android 10-based One UI 2 update. The Android 11-based One UI 3 update was released to the Galaxy Fold earlier this year.

A Pakistan Army soldier Naib Subedar Sonay Zai, a resident of Darazinda (DI Khan) got martyred during the intense exchange of fire as terrorists targeted a military post in Kanniguram, South Waziristan District.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on the night of 17/18 August, a Pakistan Military post observed and engaged the movement of terrorists in Kanniguram.

During the intense exchange of fire, one of the terrorists was killed, ISPR said.

A search of the area is in progress to eliminate any terrorists found, said ISPR.

“Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” the military media wing added.

Earlier, three militants were killed during an operation conducted in the Kurram district after receiving information about their presence.

The ISPR said that Captain Basit Ali, 25, and Sepoy Hazrat Bilal, 22, were martyred in an exchange of fire with the militants.

Captain Basit belonged to Haripur district and Sepoy Bilal hailed from Orakzai tribal district.

The officials said that three other soldiers of Frontier Corps sustained wounds.

Paramilitary forces were conducting the operation in the mountainous area in the east of Parachinar to find five kidnapped workers of a cellular company.

The encounter between the security personnel and the militants occurred. The ISPR said that a cordon and search operation were in progress in the area to eliminate other militants.

Security forces had conducted multiple operations against militants and the area was de-notified as a conflict zone in 2011.
