Hareem Shah, in her recent remarks, claimed that Sheikh Rasheed has not married because of her.

Earlier, the TikToker had shared footage of a call with Rasheed on her Twitter account in which she accused him of sending her indecent videos.

In the video, Hareem can be heard talking with the federal minister on a video call, saying, “Have I ever revealed anything of yours till now? Then why don’t you talk to me anymore?”

“Do whatever you want,” Rasheed can be heard responding to her.

Hareem can then be heard saying, “What do you mean…What about all those naked videos you used to send me have you forgotten about them.”

The obscene conversation between the two had sparked outrage and an intense debate on social media.

Previously, the controversial TikToker had has slapped the religious scholar Mufti Qavi over immoral and unethical comments.

Hareem Shah had shared that she went to visit Qavi with her friend. During their meeting, the religious leader passed inappropriate comments and was rude to them, said sources.

Sources further added that she said that she left his hotel room after slapping him. 

Soon after her video of slapping the cleric went viral on the internet, Hareem told Mr Qavi had been misbehaving with her since yesterday, using inappropriate language.

She had said that she had no regrets about hitting Abdul Qavi and that the public would decide for themselves whether he deserved it or not.

“A snake will remain a snake, no matter how much one tries to befriend it,” he said hitting out at the TikToker.

The crescent for the month of Ramadan has been sighted in Saudi Arabia, the Supreme Court has announced. 

In a statement issued by the Saudi Supreme Court, Tuesday (April 13) will mark the first day of Ramadan.

This will be the second year when the Holy month will be observed under the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar which is observed by the entire Muslim community from around the world.

The Muslims engage in good deeds and ask for forgiveness and refrain from eating and drinking from dawn until sunset.

This annual practice is considered one of the five pillars of Islam. It is said that Ramadan is the commemoration of Prophet Muhammad’s first revelation.

Moreover, the Saudi government had announced that Iftar gatherings and I’tikaf will not be allowed in the Masjid Al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi during Ramadan.

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the head of affairs of the two mosques, said that the Presidency would provide ready-made food to the worshipers in the Masjid al-Haram, while Sehri would not be allowed in the Prophet (PBUH) Mosque.

No one will be allowed to eat in the courtyards of both mosques and everyone will be provided food individually.

Zamzam water coolers will also not be available and 200,000 bottles of Zamzam water will be provided on a daily basis.

In addition, those who wish to break the fast in the Masjid al-Haram will only be allowed to bring dates and water for themselves and will not be allowed to share them with anyone.

Foreign Office Strongly Rebukes extra-judicial killings in IIOJK

UN unanimously adopts Pakistan’s resolution on countering disinformation

Pakistan has on Monday rebuked the extra-judicial killing of three Kashmiris including a 14-year old juvenile student by Indian occupation forces in the Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). 

In a tweet, Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson said the government call upon the international community to hold India accountable for its gross violations.

Pakistan strongly condemns the extra-judicial killing of 3 Kashmiris incl. a 14-year old juvenile student by Indian occupation forces in Shopian, #IIOJK. We once again call upon the int’l community to hold India accountable for its gross &systematic HR violations #KashmiriLivesMatter.”

He also maintained that Pakistan has repeatedly called for independent inquiries into the extra-judicial killings of all unarmed Kashmiri men and women.

Previously on Sunday, brutal Indian forces in their fresh acts of terrorism martyred Kashmiri youth in Shopian and Islamabad districts.

According to local media, three youth were martyred by the troops during search operations in the Hadipora area of Shopian while another two youth were martyred in the Bijbehara area of Islamabad district.

Earlier, Indian troops martyred seven Kashmiri youth in a separate cordon in Shopian and Pulwama districts last week.

The authorities have suspended internet services in the Shopian, Kulgam and Islamabad districts of south Kashmir.

Ramadan 2021: Sindh Govt. Issues New Timings For Public Offices

The Sindh government has on Monday (today) announced new timings for public offices during Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, likely to commence from April 14.

The provincial administration has issued a notification in this regard.

As per the notification, public offices working from Monday to Friday will run from 10 am to 4 am for the first four weekdays and will close down at 1 pm on Friday due to Jumma prayers.

Previously, the Federal government had issued new timings for government offices during the holy month.

According to the official circular by the Establishment Division, the working hours in government offices of Islamabad during Ramadan will be from 10 am to 4 pm from Monday to Thursday, whereas on Fridays the timings will be from 10 am to 1 pm.

Moreover, for the Ramadan moon sighting in Pakistan, a meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will take place on Tuesday (tomorrow).

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, the moon sighting committee’s chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad will chair the meeting in Peshawar.

TLP Chief Saad Hussain Rizvi Arrested By Lahore Police

The Chief of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Saad Hussain Rizvi has been arrested on Monday (today) by the Lahore police.

According to a party spokesperson, Saad Hussain Rizvi was taken into custody from Jamia Masjid Rehmat ul Aalameen after Zuhar prayers.

There is no immediate reason revealed by the police for the TLP leader’s arrest. However, the TLP chairperson has announced a demonstration on April 20.

Hussain Rizvi was chosen as the TLP chief in November 2020, after his father Khadim Hussain Rizvi’s demise.

Who Was Then TLP Chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi?

Khadim Hussain Rizvi hails from Attock District, Punjab. Apart from memorizing the Qur’an, he is also a Shaykh-ul-Hadeeth and is fluent in Persian. His two sons have also been involved in various protests. Khadim Hussain was paralyzed in a traffic accident and cannot walk without support.

He was born on June 22, 1966, to Haji Lal Khan in the Attock district. He studied Quran memorization and tajweed from the madrassas of Jhelum and Dina, after which he completed his teaching from Jamia Nizamia Rizvia in Lahore There are many different types of cases registered against them. Ejaz Ashrafi said that he did not remember the number of these cases. But he has not been arrested since the movement began. Maybe it’s because of their ‘street power’.

In January 2017, he also staged a rally in Lahore in support of the blasphemy law, which was baton-charged by police. He was arrested and sent to jail and is still on the Punjab government’s Fourth Schedule, which means he has to keep the police informed of his movements. An ISI report says that “Khadim Hussain Rizvi is arrogant in front of his superiors and disrespectful to his subordinates.”
