Cristiano Ronaldo shares a loved-up snap with his partner Georgina Rodriguez

Cristiano Ronaldo

Legendary Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo has shared an adorable picture with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez on his Twitter handle.

Posting a lovely picture amidst winter chills, Ronaldo captioned it, “Moments” with a red heart.

Who is Georgina Rodriguez?

The Spanish model is the Juventus star’s most serious love interest since he broke up with long-term partner Irina Shayk.

Cristiano Ronaldo has remained relatively secretive about his personal relationships since rising to footballing stardom.

The Juventus forward dated Russian model Irina Shayk for nearly five years until January 2015, when their break-up was described as “like a death” in the family by his sister Elma.

Ronaldo was linked to a number of women after that, but it became apparent a few years ago that Spanish model Georgina Rodriguez is officially the Portugal captain’s partner.

This relationship is clearly the most serious as Georgina recently gave birth to a baby girl – and the Juventus star’s fourth child.

The two have both made clear they are in love, and Georgina even spelt it out on Instagram.

Shoaib Akhtar Review

Social media users and celebrities are calling out at Pakistan’s former pacer Shoaib Akhtar for mocking the recently released Pakistan Super League (PSL)’s official anthem Groove Mera.

Shoaib Akhtar lashed out at PCB for releasing “the worst song that he had heard in the history of the PSL”.

“If the 10 worst songs of the PSL are compiled, this song will be number one,” said the former pacer. “Do you have any shame?”

He mocked the new song by joking that ever since he played it for his children, they have stopped talking to him. “My kids are scared of this song. When they don’t sleep, I tell them I’ll play it for them. That immediately scares them,” he said.

However, Pakistani Twitterati was quick to respond Akhtarfor his insensitive remarks about the artists’ struggle.

“Really disappointed in u. The song is not bad at all. Just cuz u didn’t like it, doesn’t mean u have the right to put efforts of singers n producers in the trash,” one user said.

On the other hand, Singer and actor Haroon Shahid also reminded Akhtar about his association with Shahrukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders.

“So when Shoaib Akhtar was being paid millions by Kolkata Knight Riders and this song came up I bet he would have danced on this track at the Eden Gardens just to impress Shahrukh jee!”

Moreover, actress Anoushey Ashraf and singer Farhan Saeed also bashed Shoaib Akhtar over bashing the PSL song.

“Oh dear, this is in bad taste. One thing to not like a song, another thing to run down artists, musicians this way,” she commented on Akhtar’s video shared by Hello! Pakistan. “Big fan of Shoaib Akhtar but not the way he’s bashing the new anthem. Some people, including many of your friends, fans and family, like the track.”

“Difference of opinion is welcome, degrading someone’s work isn’t,” she pointed out. “Don’t like the track, cool. Hating on it this way? Not cool.”

Mt. Everest: Nepal bans 3 Indian climbers for faking their summit in 2016

Mt Everest ascent faking

Nepal has banned three Indian mountaineers for six years for faking their 2016 ascent to Mt Everest, officials said Wednesday.

The climbers claimed to reach the top of Mt Everest, the world’s highest mountain in the 2016 spring season.

But outrage erupted among Indian mountaineers after Yadav was listed for the prestigious Tenzing Norgay Adventure Award last year, triggering an investigation regarding their ascent.

Tourism Ministry spokesman Tara Nath Adhikari told their investigations and enquiries with other climbers revealed that the two “never reached the summit”.

“They couldn’t produce any evidence of their ascent to the peak… they even failed to submit reliable photos of them at the summit,” the spokesman said.

The two climbers and their team leader Naba Kumar Phukon have been banned from climbing Nepal’s mountains for six years, starting retroactively from May 2016.

The organizing team has been fined 50,000 rupees and their supporting Sherpa has been fined Rs10,000.
