Apple TV+ free subscriptions to be extended through February 2021

Apple tv+subscription extended

Apple has on Thursday said that it would extend free Apple TV+ subscriptions, which were set to end within the next three months, through February.

The company had bundled a one-year free subscription to its video-streaming service Apple tv+ with the purchase of an Apple product.

The free subscription debuted in November last year with shows such as ‘Oprah’s Book Club’ and Jennifer Aniston’s ‘The Morning Show’.

What is Apple TV+

Apple TV+ is a streaming service featuring Apple Originals — award-winning series, compelling dramas, groundbreaking documentaries, kids’ entertainment, comedies, and more — with new Apple Originals added every month.

It is commercial-free. Some shows release all episodes at once. Other shows add new episodes every Friday. You can then watch them on-demand anytime, anywhere.

It is available on the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, select Samsung and LG smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices, as well as at tv.apple.com, for $4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial.

If you currently pay for the streaming service on a yearly plan that will renew between November and January.

Moreover, it will also automatically extend until February 2021 at no additional charge.

The extra three months will allow the video streaming platform’s users to explore more of the content catalogue, including recent hits like Ted Lasso and upcoming titles such as Apple Original film On The Rocks.

The extra three months also helps Apple entice customers with second season launches of some of its flagship shows.

In a Twitter post, he said the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Coronavirus has issued new standard operating procedures (SOPs).

It has restricted weddings in terms of both numbers of guests and duration of the function and other events in view of the second wave of the deadly virus in Pakistan.

Meghan Markle’s split from Trevor Engelson was quite ‘empowering’

Meghan Markle with first husband

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are the centres of discussion among fans since their split from the Royal dignitaries.

At the time of Meghan Markle’s marriage with Prince Harry, her unsuccessful marriage became a hot topic globally.

However, to file a divorce abruptly and leave her first husband, Hollywood producer Trevor Engelson, was quite an empowering step towards her future.

In Andrew Morton’s books titled, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, a friend was cited claiming that the couple’s split was quite sudden and had appeared out of nowhere.

It was claimed in the book that the divorce was so “out of the blue” that the Duchess of Sussex had sent her diamond wedding as well as engagement rings back to Engelson through mail, as she lived in Toronto while he stayed in New York.

Later, actor Abby Wathen had said in a documentary titled Prince Harry and Meghan: Truly madly deeply, that the decision to end her marriage was quite ‘empowering’ for Markle.

“We both went through a divorce, so we bonded over that too. I was destroyed and she was empowered. She took her power back. It wasn’t the right relationship for her, so she moved on,” recalled Wathen.
