U.S. will “Soon Begin Action” to Keep Venezuela “Within Limits”, says Trump

Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that the United States will “soon begin action” to keep Venezuela “within limits,”

Speaking to reporters, Trump said that America possesses “the world’s strongest military and defense equipment,” citing a recent B-2 bomber mission that flew for 37 hours to strike a designated target.

He added that he had personally met the pilots, comparing them to actor Tom Cruise, and revealed that he had placed a large order for additional B-2 bombers.

The President also provided updates on the aftermath of the recent attack on National Guard personnel and the White House. He confirmed that the attacker, who reportedly targeted National Guard members, is in critical condition.

A female officer injured in the White House assault has succumbed to her injuries, and another National Guard member remains in life-threatening condition.

“Our security personnel are serving the country with unmatched dedication,” President Trump said.

White House Attack Investigation Gains Momentum:

U.S. officials disclosed new information about the suspect involved in the White House attack. The attacker, identified as Rahmanullah, resided in the Bellingham area of Washington state and arrived in the United States in 2021.

According to officials, Rahmanullah was among those granted refuge after aiding U.S. operations in Afghanistan. His asylum request was approved in April, and he maintained a clean record during his employment with the CIA. Authorities stated that he had met all requirements prior to his entry into the country.

In response to the incident, the U.S. government has tightened monitoring procedures for asylum seekers and certain green card holders. Individuals from 19 countries — including Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, and Yemen — will undergo re-screening as part of enhanced security measures.

It is to be noted that on Wednesday. Police have arrested one suspect in the shooting, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, a 29-year-old from Afghanistan.
