According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) continental air continues to prevail over most parts of the country, while a weak westerly system is expected to approach the western regions later today in the evening or night.

Sindh will remain hot and dry across most districts, with partly cloudy conditions expected after midday. The heat intensity is likely to persist throughout the day, offering little relief.

Weather conditions across the rest of the country are expected to remain mostly dry, with rising daytime temperatures. However, partly cloudy skies are likely over upper and western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well as northeastern Balochistan.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Bajaur, Mohmand, Kurram, Khyber, and Waziristan, scattered rain showers with gusty winds and thunderstorms are expected at isolated locations.

Northeastern Balochistan is also likely to see partly cloudy conditions, with chances of light rain, gusty winds, and thunderstorms in some areas.

Most districts of Balochistan will remain dry, while southern parts are expected to experience intense heat. Strong, dust-laden winds may develop during the afternoon. By evening or night, Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman, Qila Abdullah, and surrounding areas may receive rain with gusty winds and thunderstorms at isolated places.

Islamabad and surrounding areas will remain dry and warm during the day, with chances of strong winds in the afternoon.

In Kashmir, dry weather will persist, although partly cloudy conditions may develop after noon.

Southern Punjab is expected to experience strong, dust-raising winds during the afternoon or evening.

Murree, Galliyat, and nearby hilly areas will remain mostly dry, with partly cloudy conditions likely in the evening or night
