After weeks of controversy and legal tension, the dispute between actors Mamya Shajaffar and Arslan Butt has officially been settled out of court, bringing an end to a case that dominated headlines and online discussions.

Mamya Shajaffar, an emerging talent in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, gained recognition through projects such as College Gate and Mesni.

Known for her outspoken nature, she had previously made headlines after sharing allegations of harassment during a drama shoot.

The controversy began when Mamya, in an interview, accused a fellow actor of inappropriate behavior during the production of Mesni.

Although she did not initially name the individual, the matter later became publicly associated with Arslan Butt. She claimed she immediately objected to the incident at the time.

Arslan Butt strongly denied the allegations in a separate interview, rejecting the claims and defending his position. The disagreement soon escalated into a legal battle, with both actors issuing legal notices and pursuing formal action.

In a recent development, Arslan Butt confirmed via social media that the matter has now been resolved outside court. He stated that Mamya Shajaffar has withdrawn her allegations, while he has also withdrawn his complaint filed with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) as well as his defamation case.

He further appealed to the public and social media users to avoid speculation and discussion on the issue, emphasizing that the matter has been mutually settled between both parties.
