These days, the singer is busy with a series of concerts both in Pakistan and abroad. Currently, he is in Canada, where he is performing for his fans. During his visit, Atif Aslam sat down for an interview with Canada-based Indian journalist and host Faridoon Sheharyar.
In the conversation, Atif finally addressed the criticism he faced for performing soon after his father’s passing. He spoke candidly about the situation and shared his feelings with his fans, giving them a glimpse into his personal side during a difficult time.
Atif Aslam said, ” I become a rebel when I hear people talking about me, like recently they criticized me for performing after my father’s death, saying, ‘Oh! this happened to him, that happened to him, and yet he is performing the next day’. I realize they are running their channels at the expense of something bad happened in my house, they were whether I should have to go in a concert or not, it’s not my job to tell anyone what should I do or to explain. I can’t be related to the whole world. Like me for my art, hate me for my music, but don’t expect me to explain myself.”
