People in Pakistan get an important document called the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) from NADRA once their information is confirmed.
According to the new rules, people now have to provide a statement that the information they gave is true. The FRC is given to people based only on NADRA’s records.
The new rules define three family types: Alpha for birth, Beta for marriage, and Gamma for adoption. If any family members are missing, people have to get them registered.
Wrong information can be removed or fixed at NADRA offices or through the mobile app. The new FRC will also clear up confusion by giving full details about men who have multiple marriages, which the old system did not do.
How to Apply
There are two easy methods to apply for an FRC through NADRA. The applicants can visit Centers for NADRA Registration (NRC) or they can avail the service online through Mobile App for Pak Identity
FRC Current Fee
For all forms of FRC, the NADRA charge is Rs 1,000. If you wish to receive FRC by marriage and by birth on the same document, the cost will be doubled.
