Around 84,000 intending pilgrims have paid the first installment of their Hajj 2027 expenses through the government’s digital Hajj portal, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

A ministry spokesperson said Rs. 52.5 billion has so far been received through three payment methods available on the Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal.

Under the government Hajj scheme, all 30,000 seats for the long Hajj package have already been filled, while about 23,500 seats remain available.

The ministry has urged people planning to perform Hajj under the government scheme to complete their personal information and make their payments through the Hajj Portal as soon as possible.

Officials said bookings for the 40-day Hajj package will close once the required number of pilgrims is reached.

The ministry has introduced the digital Hajj platform to streamline registration, payments and other arrangements for pilgrims. The online system allows intending pilgrims to submit their information and pay their Hajj expenses through designated channels.

The latest figures show strong demand for the government Hajj scheme, with thousands of applicants already completing the first installment payment.
