Popular Pakistani actress Sonya Hussyn has finally addressed the rumors about her supposed relationship with cricketer Shoaib Malik. Responding to a fan’s comment on Instagram, she made it clear that there is no romantic link between them.
Sonya said: “First of all, he is older than me and is like my brother.”
She added:

The actress also shared a funny story from a past interview, revealing that her mother was unaware of Shoaib Malik’s marital status. When Malik once visited their home for dinner, her mother, who is a big fan of the cricketer, immediately took a liking to him.
Sonya recalled: “When Shoaib Malik came to our house for dinner, my mother didn’t know he was married. She liked him so much that she even started encouraging me to marry him.”
