Rangers, Sindh police arrest terrorist from Lyari

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers and Police arrested a militant linked to banned organization in joint operation conducted in Lyari area of Karachi. In a joint intelligence-based operation, Sindh Rangers and Karachi Police have arrested an individual affiliated with a banned Baloch militant organization. Sindh Rangers spokesperson said arrested suspect, identified as Dervesh alias Sagar, was apprehended from Lyari. The LEA salso recovered weapons and a hand grenade from the suspect's possession. Sindh Rangers Spokesman said Darwish alias Sagar Mohalla Sargawad Lyari is a resident of Karachi.The accused joined Baloch Students Organization (BSO) Azad in 2015. The accused joined the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) activist Farooq Baloch group. The accused, along with his other colleagues Farooq Baloch and Majeed alias Baba, has been involved in facilitating banned BLA and BLF workers. The arrested accused has also been involved in treatment of Baloch militant organizations and providing safe havens. The accused's close associates Farooq Baloch, Majeed alias Baba, Faraz alias Ganj, Nasir Zikri, Shahzad Zikri and Baloch militant organizations along with terrorists are involved in several terrorist operations on security forces in Balochistan and Karachi. Two of the accused's associates Pervez Zikari and Zafar alias Mama Jaffar Express have been killed in a confrontation by security forces in the train attack. The accused has been involved in distributing various Baloch terrorist organizations by receiving money through Hawala Hundi. The accused has also been involved in campaigns against anti -Pakistan and forces on social media. The arrested accused has been handed over to police for further legal action with arms and ammunition.
