Karachi: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a rain alert for Karachi and other parts of the Sindh province, with a high possibility of showers from August 30 to September 2.

The alert warns of the risk of urban flooding in Karachi due to the expected heavy downpour.

The NDMA's advisory also extends to several other areas in Sindh, including Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Sujawal, Tharparkar, Sukkur, Ghotki, Larkana, Jacobabad, Kashmore, and Dadu. The authority has advised all relevant departments and residents to take necessary precautions.
