Man, son drown at Gadani beach

KARACHI: A Father and his son drowned in a tragic incident occurred in Gadani Beach. A family went for a picnic at Gidani Beach, but the picnic turned into tragic when a father drowned while trying to save his son. The man, identified as Kareem Shah, was a resident of Karachi living in Qasba Colony area of Orangi Town. His 12-year-old son Ubaid was swept away by strong waves while swimming. Kareem Shah jumped in to rescue him, but was also drowned due to the powerful tides. According to locals, Kareem Shah was living in a rented house. Their bodies were later shifted to their residence in Qasba Colony, Orangi Town.
