IHC orders federal govt to pay 3m to father of missing citizen

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered the federal government to pay Rs three million as compensation to the father of the missing citizen of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb of Islamabad High Court heard the request for the recovery of the missing citizen of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haroon Muhammad and issued an order on the request after hearing the arguments of the lawyers. The court ordered the federal government to pay Rs three million compensation to the father of the missing citizen before the next hearing. The High Court also directed the IGKP to provide security to the petitioner and register a case against the security personnel. The court adjourned further hearing of the case for two weeks.
