ARKANSAS: Rap superstar Drake surprised fans at Ella Langley’s concert in Arkansas singing along and dancing to her hit “Choosin’ Texas” before blowing a kiss toward the country singer, sparking fresh speculation about a possible musical collaboration.
Videos from the sold-out show quickly spread online, showing Drake enjoying the performance from the crowd. At one point, he enthusiastically sang along to Langley’s song.
The unexpected appearance immediately caught fans’ attention, with many wondering whether Drake’s support could signal an upcoming collaboration with Langley.
The two artists already have a friendly connection. Their songs recently competed for the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100, with Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” and Drake’s “Janice STFU” battling for the top spot. Drake briefly took No. 1 before Langley reclaimed the position the following week. Her song later continued its strong run on the chart.
Despite the chart competition, there has been no sign of a feud between the two musicians. Instead, both have publicly supported each other.
Langley previously shared a video of herself singing Drake and Lil Wayne’s “HYFR” on social media. Drake later praised Langley’s songwriting, calling her pen “goated.” Drake also played “Choosin’ Texas” while DJing at a Houston club in July.
Now, his appearance at Langley’s concert appears to have returned that show of support, giving fans another reason to wonder on future music star collaboration.
Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham, is one of the biggest names in contemporary music. The Toronto born rapper has won five Grammy Awards and received 56 nominations through the 2026 Grammy Awards. He first gained major attention as an actor on “Degrassi: The Next Generation” before building a global music career.
His career has also been marked by major controversies, most notably his highly publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar. The 2024 rap battle produced several diss tracks, including Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which included allegations Drake denied.
Drake later sued Universal Music Group over the promotion of the song, but a federal judge dismissed the defamation case in October 2025, ruling that the lyrics were protected opinion. Drake has appealed the decision.
