There’s no new addition to Britney Spears’ family—despite recent rumors and playful hints.
On July 13, the pop icon shared a humorous Instagram post mentioning “a beautiful baby girl” named Lennon London Spears, complete with three winking emojis. Many fans initially thought Britney might be announcing a new adoption, but sources close to her clarify that it was all in good fun.
Britney’s caption read, “Lennon today has on adorable dress !!! It says I’m NEW HERE !!!” along with laughing emojis, suggesting she was joking around. The singer, who is mother to Sean Federline and Jayden Federline with ex-husband Kevin Federline, has not confirmed any new adoptions.
This isn’t the first time Britney has teased fans with playful posts. In December last year, she claimed she was moving to Mexico, which she later clarified was just a joke. She often shares glimpses of her life during trips to Mexico but hasn’t made any official move.
Additionally, fans noticed a baby carrier in the background of a July 10 post, sparking speculation.
Back in January, Britney also announced plans to expand her family through adoption, stating, “I’ve decided I’m going to adopt a baby girl !!!! I’m actually serious !!!” However, that post was later deleted, and no official confirmation has followed.
