KARACHI: The VIS Credit Rating Company has reaffirmed K-Electric’s long-term rating of ‘AA’ and short-term rating of ‘A-1+’ with a stable outlook.
According to a KE spokesperson, the ratings reflect strong confidence from investors and financial institutions in K-Electric’s performance and financial standing.
VIS has rated K-Electric’s ability to meet its short-term financial obligations on time as strong, highlighting consistent cash flows that continue to support debt repayments.

VIS noted that K-Electric’s long-term financial position remains linked to ongoing regulatory decisions, while progress under the multi-year tariff framework is considered important for future financial planning.
