Kate and William named Prince Louis to honour the Royal Family

Kate and William
  • Kate and William named their third child Prince Louis Arthur Charles.
  • The name has a lot of symbolism behind it, including significant ties to the royal family.
  • The baby’s older brother, Prince George, shares the same middle name as his father, William.

Kate Middleton recently revealed a comprehensive story of how she named her children during her first solo appearance as the new Princess of Wales in Guildford.

Kate, 40, spoke extensively about her children and how she and Prince William chose their names when visiting the Royal Surrey County Hospital’s maternity section.

While there was much curiosity about the names of royal children such as Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, few people are aware that the Prince and Princess of Wales named their children in the traditional British manner.

Kate and William named their third child Prince Louis Arthur Charles, and the name, like the names of their previous two children, George and Charlotte, has a lot of symbolism behind it, including significant ties to the royal family.

According to the report, royal analyst Victoria Arbiter stated, “on one hand there is a desire to inform the families before the public declaration is made and any new parent appreciates having a little private time to get to get to know their new addition before the onslaught of announcements,”

The List claimed that when the new parents officially disclosed Prince Louis’ name, admirers were immediately deciphering the significance of their choice.

Kate and William announced their son’s name on Twitter, like they did previously. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles. The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.”

The name Louis refers to the Duke of Edinburgh’s uncle, Lord Louis Mountbatten, and the Duke’s maternal grandfather, Prince Louis Alexander of Battenberg.

Louis’ older brother, Prince George, shares the same middle name as his father, William. The name is of French and German origin and means “renowned warrior.”

  • Meghan Markle was accused of trying to keep Prince William and Kate Middleton off the front pages.
  • Biographer says relations between the two households became quite tense.
  • Harry chose not to deny it, instead saying, “We are certainly on different paths at the moment”.

Meghan Markle is being chastised for allegedly attempting to keep Prince William and Kate Middleton off the front pages.

Valentine Low, a royal author and biographer, made this revelation in a piece for the sources.

He began by accusing Meghan Markle of “deliberately” undermining Prince William and Kate Middleton’s media coverage during their tour of Pakistan.

Mr Low also wrote, “William and Kate’s team was not happy, it seems, and saw it as a deliberate attempt to knock the couple out of the headlines. Relations between the two households became quite tense.”

“The documentary had also shown not only Meghan’s evident pain but also how far Harry and William had drifted apart.”

When Bradby asked about the schism between Harry and William, Harry chose not to deny it, instead saying, “We are certainly on different paths at the moment . . . As brothers, you know, you have good days, you have bad days .”

By the end, “William, home after the Pakistan tour, appears to have been taken aback at such a stark portrayal of his brother and sister-in-law’s unhappiness. He realised they were in crisis.”

King Charles ‘didn’t distinguish’ between Harry, William at Queen’s death

King Charles
  • Prince Harry arrived at Balmoral hours after the Queen’s death in 2022.
  • A source claims that Charles called both sons as soon as it was known the Queen would die.
  • The monarch asked them to fly to Scotland quickly.

King Charles III allegedly did not distinguish between his sons Prince Harry and Prince William when notifying them of Queen Elizabeth’s death, with a source claiming that he contacted both of them at the grave time.

According to a source published by The Telegraph, the newly inaugurated King Charles called both Prince William and Harry as soon as it became evident that the Queen would die at Balmoral, asking them to fly to Scotland quickly.

The source dismissed reports that Charles contacted William first, leading Harry to arrive late, “There was no difference in those calls. This is a father and his much-loved sons.”

The remark came after it was revealed earlier this month that Prince Harry arrived in Balmoral, Scotland, hours after the Queen’s death on September 8, 2022.

During the Platinum Jubilee at Buckingham Palace, Prince Louis was seen making a variety of naughty gestures, including sticking his tongue out.

“People thinking Prince Louis isn’t there because he’s too young. The real reason: High chance of chaos,” one fan quoted.

Kate Middleton and William are seeking the ‘desire’ to have children: Expert

Kate Middleton
  • The Cambridges are rumoured to be leaving Kensington Palace for Windsor.
  • Adelaide Cottage is located in the heart of the Queen’s Windsor estate.
  • Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis would attend different schools if they moved closer to the Queen.

According to a royal expert, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are putting their children first by renouncing their “dream” of living in London and going to Windsor.

The Cambridges are rumoured to be leaving Kensington Palace for Adelaide Cottage, which is located in the heart of the Queen’s 655-acre Windsor estate and is quite near to Windsor Castle. The relocation would bring them considerably closer to the Queen and would require Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to attend different schools. It will also see them leave the hustle and bustle of the city for a home with more room.

And, despite their initial intention, Kate and William have realised that Windsor is a better location for George, Charlotte, and Louis to grow up, according to royal biographer Omid Scobie.

In his column on Yahoo, he stated, “Though London was originally the dream, it became increasingly apparent to the duke and duchess that living in the middle of Kensington Gardens may not be the best place for Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four, as they grow up.”

He further claims that a source informed him that the Cambridges considered permanently relocating to Anmer Hall in Norfolk, but that it is too distant from London.

He quotes a source telling, “They thought about moving to [their home in] Norfolk, but as active senior working royals they could never be that far away from London, so that’s where Windsor came into the picture.”

Meanwhile, another royal analyst and author Ingrid Seward believe the relocation will allow Kate and her family much more freedom, particularly when she was informed the duchess can’t actually do things like a stroll in the park.

She previously told True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat about the move, “I think what William and Catherine will have for their children is the freedom they didn’t have at Kensington Palace.

“I remember Harry saying to a friend of mine that Catherine was almost a prisoner at Kensington Palace, and I thought don’t be ridiculous, it’s the most gorgeous place to live in London!

“Then I thought, in a way they are prisoners, they have a beautiful house and garden but beyond that garden are hundreds of people every day and massive security.”

“Catherine can’t walk in the park like Diana used to, as times have changed.

“The only place to go is a field where the helicopters land, so you are very imprisoned. Everyone knows what you’re doing and where you are.”

Kate, 40, will also be able to live closer to her family and where she grew up in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

Kate Middleton’s university moniker that caught William’s sight

Kate Middleton
  • Kate Middleton studied art history at the University of St Andrews.
  • It was there that she met Prince William and their early romance flourished.
  • Fellow students nicknamed her ‘Beautiful Kate’ during Freshers’ Week when she first moved to Scotland.

Kate Middleton aced her A-levels at Marlborough College and was accepted to the University of St Andrews in Scotland to study art history. It was a life-changing decision because it was there that she met Prince William and their early romance flourished. And it appears that a humorous nickname given to her by her classmates has captured the attention of the future monarch.

That’s because she took part in Freshers’ Week when she first started at the institution, a tradition that welcomes new students with a week of evenings out and partying.

Kate writes in her book, “The Future Queen, author Katie Nicholl writes that Kate had a “hectic week of partying, meeting her ‘university parents – older pupils who were in charge of looking after freshers – finding her way around town and settling into her residence hall.”

She added, “Kate soon found her way around and was often seen relaxing in the common room, curled up in an armchair, a cup of tea in hand, either reading newspaper articles her father rather touchingly mailed to her or getting to know her fellow hall mates.”

William arrived at St Andrews the following week, and it didn’t take long for him to recognise his future bride, most likely due to the moniker she was given by her peers.

By the end of Freshers’ Week, Katie had earned the moniker ‘Beautiful Kate.’

She says, “She was initially more reserved than many of the other young women, but her natural beauty was apparent.”
