WhatsApp introducing Disappearing Messages feature

WhatsApp has been working on numerous exciting and useful features for a very long time.

As per reports, the messaging app is working on features including the auto-archive chats and has brought back its popular vacation mode in the latest Android beta update.

All the features are currently under development and WhatsApp will roll them out officially only when it is free of bugs.

As per Wabetainfo, after shelving the vacation mode a couple of weeks ago, WhatsApp has started working on the feature again.

“WhatsApp has decided to implement the Vacation Mode again, under a new form! There will be a new dedicated section for the Vacation Mode, that allows choosing different parameters. When the new feature will be enabled, Archived chats will be moved to the top of your chats list,” the report read.

The Vacation mode feature that WhatsApp seems to be working on for over a year now will allow users to mute notifications from archived chats.

The messaging app is, however, working on a separate ringtone apart from your phone’s ringtone.

Coming to the storage optimization feature, WhatsApp will display in how much storage has been used by files, chats, forwarded files, and more.

WhatsApp wants to provide a clear picture to users so that they can get rid of unwanted media that has occupied space.
