The actor-turned-author posted a few photos from their at-home party on Instagram, and it appeared to be a fun time. Twinkle Khanna and their daughter Nitara hosted a tea party for two on Friday evening, while Akshay Kumar was busy promoting his upcoming film BellBottom.

He wrote, “A Mad Hatter’s tea party for two. The 13-Storey Treehouse is what we are going to read today. If you have a child between 7-9 this is something that will get them reading even if they are usually reluctant. It’s silly, funny, filled with illustrations, and a bit mad so it matches our mood perfectly this afternoon. We are also going to try our hand at some drawing and sketches as a scribbled homage to Terry Denton the book’s illustrator. #thingstodowithkids.”

Ahead of upcoming project Laxmmi Bomb, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has faced immense online trolling from netizens.

Along with him, wife Twinkle Khanna has also been dragged by hateful comments who says that the film is hurting religious sentiments.

Responding to the trolls, Twinkle Khanna penned a note and replied to all the hate and criticism: “The trolls have been after the man of the house’s Laxmmi Bomb and for some odd reason, they have taken pictures of me, turned my skin the same peacock shade as Lord Krishna, added a red bindi and are sharing posters called Twinkle Bomb.”

“Honestly, I am rather flattered because this moniker has come along at the right time for, as a middle-aged woman, I was beginning to think that my bombshell days were far behind me,” she went added.

The iconic actress went on to add, “I look at another meme I am tagged in. This one comes with a comment, ‘Third class person. You make joke about God.’ I am almost tempted to reply, ‘God clearly likes a good joke, otherwise she would not have made you’”.
