Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan have stepped up their security after receiving threatening letters.

According to a foreign news agency, Mumbai Police said that Salman and his father film producer and screenwriter Salim Khan had received a threatening letter.

However, the government of the Indian state of Maharashtra has stepped up security for Salman after receiving the above-mentioned threatening letter on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Bandra police have registered a case against unknown persons and started an investigation. The news agency said that a CBI team would also meet Khan and his family.

Earlier, A few days after the assassination of Indian singer and politician Sidhu Moose Wala, well-known Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan also started receiving threatening letters.

According to a foreign news agency, Salman is ready to shoot despite receiving threatening letters.
