Taran released the quantity of tickets Pathaan sold on opening day late on Monday. On the first day of its release on January 25, he claimed that 4.19 lakh tickets had already been sold, and there was still time to make an advance purchase. The movie comes after KGF 2 and Baahubali 2, both of which had Hindi dubs.
Earlier, Taran had said the movie’s Wednesday opening weekend gross may range from 45 to 50 crore. A day before Republic Day, the Yash Raj Films production will release in theaters, giving the Hindi movie a five-day extended opening weekend. Beginning on January 20, Pathaan advance reservations were available. According to reports, the movie will open on about 5,000 screens across India. It’s the first Shah Rukh Khan movie with early morning showings.
PTI claims that in addition to multiplexes, single screen theaters are also seeing brisk advance interest in the movie. Gaiety, Galaxy, and Maratha Mandir, three well-liked single-screen movie theaters in Mumbai, with 70 to 80 percent of their seats sold out. It is also one of the first Bollywood movies to top the charts for advance reservations in the southern regions of the nation.
Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone, who were a hit together, are back in Pathaan. After Om Shanti Om and Chennai Express, which was their biggest box office success, this is their fourth film together. They appeared in Happy New Year as well. In the movie, Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia play key roles, while John Abraham portrays the adversary.
