Saudi Arabia: Four people died in a traffic accident in Saudi Arabia’s Taif province, including two female teachers and the drivers of two cars.
The accident occurred on Thursday morning while the instructors were on their way to their secondary school in Mahani, 160 kilometers north of Taif.
According to witnesses, the two automobiles crashed head-on in the incident, killing all four people instantly. The bodies were taken to a local hospital for identification and inspection.
The news of the tragedy shook the community, especially in the education sector, where the teachers were widely respected and loved by their pupils and colleagues.
Dr. Fahd Al Shareef, Taif’s director general of education, has offered his sympathies to the victims’ families.
The cause of the collision is still being investigated, with officials looking into a variety of causes, including reckless driving and inclement weather.
