Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the government is pursuing a digitalization policy to bring solid reforms in all institutions including Directorate General Public Relations.
Speaking to a press conference in Lahore, Firdous said that proposal for setting up of the Punjab Information Academy will be submitted to the Chief Minister soon.
The Chief Minister has accorded approval for establishment of a modern Bus Terminal at Thoker Niaz Baig in Lahore while the design of the proposed terminal will be submitted on the 10th of this month, Awan said.
She further added that the Punjab government has decided to register cases against the organizers of the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) Multan jalsa.
The development comes a day after the 11-party alliance held a massive rally in Multan despite the government’s repeated warnings against doing so.
