Social media influencer and model, Merub Ali has recently appeared in an interview where she discussed her journey to becoming an actress.
In a recent interview, the stunning model shared some details about her showbiz career. When the host asked about how she was chosen for an audition in the mega-project Sinf-e-Aahan with a great cast, she replied, “Sana Shahnawaz the producer of the drama called me to ask for an audition, she knew me from Instagram but got my personal number from Gul-e-Rana aunty.”
“I was very nervous because Nadeem Baig was there. The audition was okay but I got selected because of my uncanny resemblance with Yumna Zaidi. My resemblance with her was a plus point in my selection because that’s what they wanted,” Merub further added.
The model also revealed to the host that she discussed the script with Gul-e-Rana and Zara Noor Abbas, who both expressed their support. She described the first day of the shoot, saying, “It was in the Old house of Lahore and I was so scared but Nadeem Baid helped me a lot and gave me confidence.”
She also shared her working experience with Yumna Zaidi, claiming that she is a wonderful person from whom Merub has learned a lot.
